The Vline looked like the shiz. They had me right up until "monthly 3GB fee"... I already have enough monthly fees for cell phone and Sirius/XM. I ain't paying for one more. The Grom Vline looks WAY more intriguing than this route.
From discussing with GROM it looks like that may be optional. The Vline looked like the shiz. They had me right up until "monthly 3GB fee"... I already have enough monthly fees for cell phone and Sirius/XM. I ain't paying for one more.

I have Sprint unlimited data on all my phones (old plan I'm hanging on to as long as they'll let me) so my bill never changes. 5 lines, under $240/mo including taxes and fees...here's how i look at it. if it gives you a wifi signal in your vehicle all your devices (passengers' too) aren't using their mobile data when in vehicle, so while it may 'add' cost, it reduces costs elsewhere.
ever see your cellular bill after a 10 hour road trip with kids and a wife on ipads? any help in additional data is welcome.
i'm going to start a different thread on the V Line so this can get back to its intended purpose.
I'm getting interested in this. Do you know what model have you got ? I noticed a firm called Canavie that is working on it. I'm looking to compare this with the Grom Vline.Still sitting in a box under my desk. It was just too buggy to have in a primary vehicle. Let me know if you're interested in giving it a try.

they both look to have rounded top and would fit better in the dash.
