Since my vacation bidding for next year just came out....

Exactly when is it?

August 31-September 2nd?

Just checking, because I've currently got 8/25-8/31 off, so I need to set down just what other days I need to get off.

I'll be there, one way or another, but I need to get the days off to get home in the process....

We'll make it our 2nd year!

Hopefully more time up and running/enjoying the 45 family this time.

We will be there this is a must for anyone with a Cruiser. Great people and the camping spot is fantastic, and make sure you make it over to the greenfox camping spot Mrs Green makes a smoken desert using her dutch oven.

D'Animal:

We'll see. Since I think I'll start "tinkering" with the HJ-45 in a couple short weeks, it's a possibility. Depends on how much work the man demands of me, and how much he pays me for that slaving. :) Oh, and if the snow is too good, then it might delay the cruiser workin a *bit.* But since I just frostbit the tip of my nose, I've got to go easy on the shredding for a little bit here...

If not the diesel 45, then the faux-Hilux. That way, if the HJ isn't up and running, then at least I'll be able to get super psyche-pumped about it! And I'll probably be there a couple days early, or at least in "the area" a couple of days early.

i'm glad to see that y'all have started organizing the event for me. maybe i outta just step aside and let somebody else take the reigns?!

yeah right, it's my b-day party and i'm gonna do it again of course! i've already started with getting raffle stuff together, got some ideas for this years' shirts and hoodies, thinking about going up on friday, bringing the new troopie, .........

and our baby is due in very early march so i'm not sure if tara and the kids are gonna make it this year or not. we'll have to wait and see.

either way, it's definetly happening. same place, same time.

start the raffle earlier this year, last year there was too much crap to give out and it was midnight before it was over. :flipoff2:

fine, if the raffle took too long for you this year, then you won't need a ticket next year! that way you can sit at camp and talk to your imaginary spotter....:flipoff2:

JK!:grinpimp:

but i did actually contemplate the same issue. the raffle has gotten bigger year after year. so in an effort to make it faster and more efficient, i'm going to group the prizes together into "prize packages". about an hour before the raffle we'll count the number of attendees and then we'll split up the prizes into the same number of prize groups as there are partisipants. that way everybody will definetly win something and it'll speed up the process quite a bit. i know your little fanny got cold once the sun went down............:crybaby:

and if anybody has any ideas on how to make the event better, don;t hesitate to post up. worst that could happen is i'd tell you to kick rocks! :p

Location??

Being a fairly new member here---where is the FJ45 run? With any luck and an act of God I might be able to resurrect one of the two FJ45 LWB that I bought about a year ago and bring it out to play. Right now they make nice paper weights---but hard to push on and off the sheets of paper.
