Exhaust pipe looks dumb in silver....we'll have that coated black.

I clearly see a fingerprint on the air cleaner box. I expect you to address that as soon as you arrive at work. :)

For a second or two, that roll up door in the background made me wonder what you were doing on the back of the truck. :)

I would expect things like garage doors turned into toppers happens in GA all the time :)
Exactly .... I was afraid you had stolen my idea.

Doing some suspension mods today.....installing this stuff:

Wits End sway bar relocation brackets(early 80 frames had the brackets hanging off the side of the frame)....super nice piece....all the Wits End stuff is super nice.

Also doing the panhard relocation bracket from @Delta VS.....as with the Wits End stuff...it's top notch. We'll be doing the @Delta VS front control arms once we measure caster so we know what kind of correction we need.

Stoked to be included on such a nice rig!

Can't wait to get the front arms....need to get the caster sweep done so we can see where we are. I think we have about a 4" lift on this truck.

I hate to give an unwanted suggestion, but I think the exhaust would look better as a "turn down/dump" style. I feel like exhaust and mufflers look weird exposed on these type of vehicles.

Having it tucked and exhaust pointed downward would be

I am not happy at all with the exhaust tip....it will get changed for sure. We'll probably make a dump and do it in black. If the current one was black it would be way way better. Definitely not right as is...way too visible. I kind of signed off on it without really thinking that when these things got thermal coated, they would be super visible. Fortunately we put a flange right at the tip so no big deal to change it up.

Sway bar brackets in....

What made you run the exhaust out the side instead of the back? Worried about departure angle?

The 80 series 4 link with the coils and the sub tank out back makes it a little challenging to get a 3" pipe in there and allow for fully cycling of the suspension. I also wanted it to exit on the passenger side since when the camper goes on, there is less going on with that side....kitchen and awning are on the driver side.

Also.... it looks kind of rad :)
