Nice mod for sure.... Here are some good install tips and discussions on switching. Magnet/reed, plunger switch , pv cell, the lift hatch is sweet too.

I ran my wiring alongside the windshield fluid tube on the driver's side of the hood on a toggle mounted on the firewall. I'll get some pics of it tonight.

Well, like I promised. The light came in handy again tonight when I was changing out my coolant temp. sensor. I had recently changed my O2 sensors because I got the O2 sensor codes and as soon as those codes went again, the PO125 code popped up. It was a "Insufficient coolant temperature for closed loop fuel control." So I figured changing the temp sensor would solve the problem but I am still getting the code. Any ideas anyone?

Damn man thanks for sharing. I most definitely adding this to my mod list.

I also do not think it is messing with my gas mileage too much because I made a run after I buttoned up everything and I got about 13 average city/highway.

Thomas, I think there are multiple temp sensors (one for the fuel control). I may be wrong. Just something to double check.

 Ramon

After doing some more research, I am thinking you are right Ramon. There's one that goes to the gauge, and the other goes to the ECM. And I replaced the wrong one. But my obd2 reader says my engine gets up to about 178-180, unless it reads off of the gauge.

Mine is still on a shelf somewhere..... I stole those pics from the thread I linked of nlxtacy 's
