I didn't see where this had been asked but has anyone in a cold climate had issues with icing on your headlights after making the switch to LED's? Having never had a set, and hearing some Jeep folks complain about icing due to a cooler lens, I was just curious before I pulled the trigger and bought a set of these. TIA!

FWIW, I just installed mine a few days ago, but the temps have been below zero and in the teens since I installed them. So far I have had no icing issues.

Has anyone had any experience with these versus the HIR highs and lows?

Found a great 3 Chip 360˚ throw light for High Beams 9005 This is a great idea. would solve any hot spots or throw issues. Would like these in 9006. would sell my 2 chip for these, the search continues

Noob question. Are "fogs" ok to run as normal headlight bulbs? Is there a difference in throw or pattern?

I went with these for my Depo high beam. They are 60w per set. Supposedly 8000lm but I'm not counting on it.

Well after about a year my metric tlc headlights I paid like 180$ for are dead. Sucks he turned out to burn so many people on hear . Really bugs me when on his site he explanes how the batch of lights I was sent have bad chips and he's gladly exchanging the old ones for his new ones. Sounds great if he responded to anyone. Well enough ranting so has any one had any problems with the cheaper ebay ones. I want another set because I loved them when they worked just a bit worried of waisting any more money. Thanks for any input

I tried a set of 2400 lumen led bulbs, supposedly gen 2 but wasn't as good of a beam and not as bright as my 55w hid so returned them.

The search continues......

If they are 2400 lumen bulbs total for both then they are 1200 lumens each and 22 watts each bulb. Make sure each bulb is in the 2000lm each for example

Yeh 60w per set is 30w per bulb. If they are 60w each then can produce 8000 lumen each which is blinding if used as a low beam. Even as a High beam 8000lm is a lot. You have a link to the details on the set you got? Something isn't right

I'd be taking the lumens claims with a grain of salt. I assume just like the cheap Chinese flashlights, the lumen claims are grossly exaggerated. Grossly exaggerated.
