you'd make bank!
At Japan pricing - you'd make a 50% margin and still have a wait list a mile long.

Base GX 4x4 with 3.5TT tax included is $32,584 USD! New at full MSRP. JFC we're being gouged on price.

I don’t know how realistic these prices are in Japan. Are they excluding tax and any other expenses? It's an unbelievable price. The Land Cruiser EXR (which is the lowest/entry trim in Dubai), even with the older 4.0 V6 1GR engine, costs 240,000 UAD or $65,000 USD even though its double the price

If my translation is correct - that is tax included although I don't know for sure what tax is included.

Part of the low price is that the MSRP has remained pretty constant since 2021. The Yen has devalued significantly - it's about 65% of what it was in 2021 vs the USD. However - that is still the current MSRP and I think you can purchase for export around that value. It costs about $1k to get one from Japan to the US port. After that... ?

My initial thought was there is so much to like. Unfortunately the color was not one of them. It just didn’t work for me on the 250. I chose to pass on this one and hold out for one in ice cap.

We’re getting so hosed in the US. It’s hilarious.

I don’t think that’s a fair comparison since the exchange rate is at one of the lowest in over 10 years.
I think a more accurate comparison would out the base 300 at around $50k USD.

That's the price for that vehicle today. 🤷‍♂️ Toyota can adjust MSRP as often as it needs to. If I could walk into a Toyota dealership in Tokyo and buy at that price it seems like a fair comparison. Toyota just set the MSRP for the LC250 at about the same $35k USD price a few months ago in either turbo4 gas or turbo diesel.

But - even at $50k, that would be a more reasonable starting point for a TTV6 base model LC300. I think they would be popular at that price. The Japan market base model is still reasonably equipped with the turbo engine and a pretty decent two row interior. That product is pretty close to my ideal configuration.
