Second, the rear bumper/lower rear quarter piece doesn't look right when it's body color - it feels like it should be flush when they are the same color.

That grill is 100 percent Prado all over like the previous gen all over the world where is sold as Prado... So, it seems obvious it is called Prado there. That probably will be the same look for South American market if I have to guess.

Notice the roof is the same color as the body.
Looks less fj cruiser, I kind of prefer it without the white roof.
Also the tires are better than the US first edition

Could always just buy a prado badge and put on… the grill too if you really want to go all out. I’m sure they’ll be floating around out there on eBay after a bit.

There’s a good chance they retain the roll down rear window with the back being so flat.
At least it comes with a painted rear bumper unlike the 250…
I much prefer that tow hitch integration as well.
I noticed this.
Even the lower grade 300s don't have a painted lower portion of the rear bumper.
I kind of prefer that for offroading though.
I'm guessing it's a possible return to the painted look and we may see it return on future 250 grades in future models.
Thats the beauty of really evolutionary designs.
They feel better integrated overall, everything is how it should be.
Anything cryptic we can deduce from that license plate?
the non hybrid 2.4 has around 282hp. ( well on the tacoma its 278hp ) but close enough.
