I don't have a receiver on mine. Has anyone tried fitting this size 285/70/17 without the receiver and using the KDSS Spacers?Looking so… it might be possible without a receiver installed though.
That's great. Do you think a 33 can fit in there or was there no room left?I installed my rear KDSS spacers today and was subsequently able to fit my 275/70-17 spare tire in the stock location, fully inflated. I removed my tow hitch previously, so I can't say whether it will still fit with the hitch installed.

I was hoping a 285/70/17 would fit with the spacers on there. My tire is brand new and I don't have a hitch. I would rather pull with my Tundra but I may add a hitch later with a bumper is this tire don't fit underneath.A 285/70/17 would be about a half inch bigger, so if it did fit, it’d be crammed in there for sure.
All I can say is that it doesn’t fit with the class 3 receiver… might fit (crammed at best) if i removed it, but that’s not an option for me so I didn’t tryI was hoping a 285/70/17 would fit with the spacers on there. My tire is brand new...
Has anyone tried putting a 275/70/17 tire with spacers and a class 3 receiver? I don't tow but would still like to have a hitch for accessories like bike racks, .
I have rear spacers, 275/70/17 Wildpeaks and had to remove the class 3 receiver I had on there to squeeze the tire in fully inflated.Has anyone tried putting a 275/70/17 tire with spacers and a class 3 receiver? I don't tow but would still like to have a hitch for accessories like bike racks, .etc.
Sounds like that’s about as big as you can go with the spacers and no receiver and having to cram it then… 275/70/17 is 32.16” and 285/70/17 is 32.71”I have rear spacers, 275/70/17 Wildpeaks and had to remove the class 3 receiver I had on there to squeeze the tire in fully inflated.
I got these on order. Are you still running it underneath? Any pics you can share? Thanks!I was able to fit a deflated 265/70R17 Falken Wildpeak AT3 SL rating using a class 3 hitch without kdss spacers.
I am still running underneath, will try grabbing a picture tomorrow. I can actually fit an inflated one now after my 5k miles 5 tire rotation.I got these on order. Are you still running it underneath? Any pics you can share? Thanks!
Thanks, this is good to know. Too bad there's no room for the receiver but I guess I would rather sacrifice the receiver in order to utilize the OEM spare tire space rather than buying a hitch tire carrier.I have rear spacers, 275/70/17 Wildpeaks and had to remove the class 3 receiver I had on there to squeeze the tire in fully inflated.
