Largest *deflated* tire in spare location?

Sorry, No I did not have the spacers in there. I would love it if it would fit up in there. At least until I get the extended range tank then the whole back build will be on the way. Has anyone tried the 33's with the KDSS spacers yet?
It’s still on my list to try… got some warm weather coming up and few days off too. I have a spare 285/70/17 general grabbers x3 mud tire from my Tacoma that I’ll try to stuff up in there.

Cool. Will the sensor go off on the dash if it is deflate?

Yes, all 5 tires, including the spare have the TPMS transmitters in them. If anyone of the tires, including the spare is low you'll get the dash light on.
I know this because I just replaced them all a few months ago. Hint, not cheap...

I've got spacers and 285's and theres no way a spare is fitting in the stock location.

I tried today, and it doesn’t fit… it is very close though. The class 3 receiver is in the way. Less than one inch of interference. I’m thinking that if it was removed it would fit. I need it, so that’s not an option. Looks like it’s victory 4x4 time.

Just to confirm, you were not able to fit a 285/70/17 general grabbers x3 mud tire in the stock spare location with the KDSS spacer?

I'm hoping the KDSS spacers would allow me to fit a 275/70-17 KO2 tire in the spare location.

Correct. My class 3 receiver interferes. If I took it off, I think it would fit. Your spare is about a half inch smaller so it might be possible to get it up in there with a class 3.

Thanks. I just pulled my class 3 receiver off, but am still struggling to get the tire to fit. My next option are the KDSS spacers, which will hopefully do the trick (and let me put the receiver back on).

I'm surprised there's not a sticky on this issue. I'm hoping Falken Wildpeaks at3 265/65/r18 will fit with the factory hitch. I just scored some r18 Blackline wheels.

A sticky with charts with different wheel radii, Generation of vehicle. inflated or deflated spare, type of hitch, exact brand and type of tire. A link on where to purchase the KDSS spacers. Links to purchase and program and clip(fool) the dashboard tpms system if you need to deflate for fitment. Someone could become the next KDSS spacer/TPMS millionaire$$$$!!!!

I had to put on KDSS spacers to clear my 265/70/17 AT tires with the factory hitch. It would not fit without spacers.

They should be the same diameter and width as 265/65/18. You should fit with spacers.

Good to know especially since I received notification today that my kdss spacers are finally shipped!

Class 4?

It says 5000 lb./ 500 lb. tongue. So I think its a class 3?
Yeah that’s the class 3.

Class 4 is 6500, which I couldn’t imagine towing with a GX. It looks like it has side brackets that bolt to the side of the frame which is probably why it comes with a higher rating.

I’ve heard that the problem with it, is that it takes up more space under there and only allows you to run the factory 30” spare. I don’t know if spacers allow you to run a larger spare with the class 4.

I was hoping the KDSS spacers would allow me to slide my 285/70/17 up into the spare location but after reading the thread it does not seem that way...
