2000hp in a 3to car - for shure a nice ride!

I just was able to see 221 km/h (137.32 miles) on GPS wih my Diesel V8 Land Cruiser 200.

It was before all modifications on the German Highway, on the way to a first test off the pavement.

I want to know what the motivation was to use a Cruiser. The feat in and of itself is impressive - but why a TLC?

I thought I had read that Toyota sponsored it and wanted to have the title of fastest SUV and maybe this motor made the most sense to start with to reach that goal.
