I took my roof rack off. I love the look but miss the functionality

Your butt is as high as mine. I’m also pending some rear end weight gain.

yea, i have OME 865s and a 1in coil spacer. I need to crank my TBs more but i love the way it rides right now and dont want ot change it.

I will be adding an iron man cell foam pro lift this year

Did some wheeling around my new home. The one video shows what hte lockers do. I think it could be helpful for the newbs to see how each locker affects wheel spin

I have also noted about 2mpg more since removing the rack. I used to have the gas light come on as soon as i hit 270-280. Since I have removed the rack, I have been getting a consistent 40 more miles per tank.

I have also replaced the passenger Lower Ball Joint thanks to Cruiser Outfitters selling the part for just ~$50 shipped. Awesome service. Now my driver side lower ball joint is going out. Will replace that soon too.

In preparation for winter, I am needing new tires. I am between the General Graber ATX or nitto Terra Grappler G2s for the rough winter we get here. My fiance has the nittos on her GX460 and they did exceptioanally well but I think they look too boring,

Ordered DT cat back yesterday. Can’t wait to install. I have been wanting to do this for years.

First drive with the new DT cat back- wow. Sounds great. I immediatly drove over Teton pass and the 100 just seemed to do it much easier than with stock exhaust. Now I don’t feel the need to regear

Hi there Krice118 - your rig has come along nicely, thanks for sharing your experiences and choices. I am jealous of your JH location, spent a winter there in '89 and always enjoy visiting now...you might consider a second set of wheels to run the boring winter tires? I grew up in NY state winters near lake ontario and feel that nothing performs as well as actual snow tires, not AT tires(also stick with what feel like narrower treads, rather than fatter)... there are a few threads on here and other sites that have some good advice, and probably that local garage probably has an opinion...long term you get better use out of both sets of tires...my 2 cents...and fingers crossed for a big winter for you! Oh, make sure your coolant is ready for the cold...it will get real cold in Jackson at some point this winter!

Thanks for the tips! I need new tires and have been going back and forth on what to do. I would like to be able to run some more agressive tires during the summer. I will likely be putting Winter tires on in December on my factory 16s and am looking to get some TRD 18s for my summer tires.

We moved out here in February - we had a healthy dose of the winter here haha

AHHH, yes you did!!! County 22!!!

Im in the same boat re:stock 16" get winter tires, begin hunt for Cool 16", 17" or 18" for summer/trail tires

Bought some tundra TRD wheels for $350
Ordered some 275 70 18 Nitto Exo grapplers- supposed to be a great winter tire that’s a bit more aggressive than the terra grappler. I will keep this post updated

I really did like the grabber AT2s but just want to try something different. They did pretty well last winter but weren’t great. They did have 50k miles on them so hard to give a fair review.

Thats a nice upgrade!!! I'm curious what years did those wheels come on Tundras? Easier to search if I know!

@4LoforSno I think they were 2014 and up

I have searched FB marketplace and Craigslist for Tundra wheels or TRD and they usually pop up. the prices are all over. these had trashed tires and they initially wanted $500.

Loving the new tire and wheel set up.
275 70 18 Nitto Exo Grappler

Ok I have to ask - do tire shops know what they are doing?

I liked my service but I just checked the tire pressure and had the following pressures : 58, 45, 38, 40. this is on my 100 that has been sitting in my 55 degree garage for 24 hours. WTF.

What psi is recommended for 275 70 18 tires? E rated

I use 40-42 when I had my E rated KO2's, I use the same with my C rated KOs's. 40 if i'm checking the air pressure in the morning or 42 if I check it in the afternoon/evening.
