I second the motion.. Runs back to his hidy hole..

I say come aboard the good ship lolipop. In fact, i will step down as co-leader and nominate him for that role.... I know that Colin is way more better (that's how english is done) at GPS nav.

do I hear a second?
Second!

Done. Who is going to give him the bad news?

I thought the Rockies would be a little rockier than this....

Between me and my dad, we thought we booked KOA, but it appears we didn’t get reserved. Campsites are now booked on the website for May 10-13, but not 15-17 (we need to leave on Fri May 17). Some cabins still appear available.
1. Is everyone at KOA? I assume there is advantage to staying together.
2. Anyone want to join and get a cabin or have room for two?
3. Does a campsite accommodate two tents? If so, anyone open to sharing a site already reserved?

Not sure how big a campsite is, but I can share also.

When we booked a couple of months ago, the website stated 3 two man tents per site. Now the website has been revamped, and describes the site as individual tent sites accommodating 6 people. I've emailed them that concern for clarification and will update. Tried calling but got voicemail.

They responded pretty quickly, and are okay with multiple tents per site:

"Given that our sites vary in size, as well as tents varying in size, we would not have stated a specific number of tents per site. With that said, our sites will generally accommodate multiple standard tents, and if need be, we offer off-site parking in our overflow areas to give a little more room.

Thanks,

Moab KOA"

Patrick and I are planning on sharing a site.

Great info. With that in mind, should we just bring our tent, assume there’s enough room reserved by the group, and chip in?

May consider us in then.

I wonder how many “sites” we have.

only reason we are "cabin-ing" a few nights is why not. :)
and 2 dogs. cabin doesn't have a bathroom. just a "bed"

For those leaving from KC, what time are we planning on leaving?

Chances are, we’ll be in “wave 2” with a departure time of approximately 8:30 from Lee’s Summit.

The morning of May 9, right? How far are we going first day?
