@thegreenthief Thanks for the feedback.

I had thought I emailed everyone whom ordered a set of instructions but I am now including them printed out and will have them posted on the site soon (hoping to have pictures as well)..

I now have 2 separate SKU's of the full kits one for stock bumper trucks and one for aftermarket bumpers which should handle the range of installs with minimal hassle. I'll also offer the short bracket as a kit alone (as a "normal" KDSS relocation) or the longer 1.5" one as an upgrade to the Stock Bumper full Kit.

Mind if I use a picture of 2 on the website?

thanks
Rob

Of course! Feel free. :)

Just ordered the max kit. Perfect timing with the front end rebuild I was about to do and was worried about getting alignment just right for 34's. This looks like *chef's kiss*. Thanks @rlynch356

Thanks - I'll get it out tomorrow

Right now I am on Back order as the next run of kits is being built.. ETA before the end of February to ship them.

Any of you guys have a white 200 at The Truck Shop in San Diego just get this installed?

FYI... The large M14 (9/16th) hardened washer on the Sway bar endlink connection to the skid plate is missing in that picture. It Provides redundancy for end link retention. There are 2 in every kit.. I do not supply other washers with the kit that would fit, so not sure where that washer came from.

Hey folks. Right in the middle of the install and down to the last steps of trying to get the sway bar and links into position. Problem I'm having is getting the driver's side bracket lined up, and it would seem that it's because the top of the KDSS piston just doesn't want to move that way (forward). I saw someone suggest a ratchet strap but I couldn't even get the sway bar brackets lined up with that. Any suggestions?

Sammy, is everything loose I.e. the end links should just be on with a few threads, the skid plate basically the same as well as the LCA end link longer bolt. That normally gives you the room then you can get it in.

I usually start with the frame brackets, bolt those to the frame then a couple of threads for the sway bar to the Anderson bracket, the move backwards to the endlinks and skid plate.

Just checking to see if you received the instructions, if not I can send them over to you.

Thanks for messaging so quick. Yep everything is loose. In fact, I went as far as to completely unhook the end links from the sway bar and still not able to get it right. I initially tried to do the sway bar brackets first (with the sway bar disconnected from the KDSS bar) but then I couldn't get the KDSS bar back on the sway bar. It seemed to me like the top mount of the KDSS ram just won't pivot forward like it needs to. Didn't want to put any more force into it until I checked if I was missing something.

Is this a stock bumper or a bull bar?

If you need I d be happy to swap out the max frame brackets for the standard one.
The difference is 1/2” but since the pivot moves in an arc it’s more at the pivot which could give you the clearance.

Its the ARB bumper.

Yeah maybe the standard ones are the ticket for me. I'm only making room for 34's. Let me know how you'd like me to work that with you. Thank you.

No worries, I can send them out to you Monday, just pm me the name they were ordered under.
You can just drop the max brackets in the mail back to me after you get everything installed.

Thank you @rlynch356 for sending me those! Installation was then a breeze and it was exactly what I needed. I'll get the max brackets sent back to you this week. The only mod I had to make was to clearance the ARB mounting plate a little bit.

Also had the LCA skid plates black anodized. Really happy with how it all turned out.

At the same time I put on new LCA's, UCA's, links, bushings and the bilstein coilovers. When I got my alignment today I had them push the caster up to around 3.7 and that gave me clearance from the fender in the back, and this gave me plenty of clearance to the KDSS. Running 34" tires. Angles of the end links look great too. Sweet kit.

Nice, looks great in black.. I figured that people could powder coat or anodized any color they want.

One running change I am going to make is to, simplify the Max product to include the 1” bracket instead of the 1.5”. I am seeing a lot of small variations in bumper fitment between the different brand and years (I believe the ARB has been revised 2 or 3 times over its lifetime so far for instance)

I’ll make the 1.5” available separately and be able to trade it out for the 1” as needed but default to the 1” bracket from here on out.

That will make it easier and less of a struggle to install for the widest variations of trucks with stock or aftermarket bumpers.

Thanks - and hopefully you don’t mind if I use a picture or two from here for examples on the web site.

I just shipped a Full kit (1") to Japan for fitment to a Base 200 with standard sway bars... the LCA part numbers are the same from everything we could tell.
I will report back once it's fitted. But should open up the applications to these Base 200 setups in addition to the KDSS present in NA and upper/middle models in the Middle East and Europe.

Just a reminder UPS shipping is cheaper (right now) I am working on making that the default method for the US and Rest of the world.

Currently no impact from tariffs since the material for this batch was bought prior to the Aluminum tariff being implemented (and everything else..) Next batch, looking for US suppliers for material, but so is everyone else..
We will see...

The prototype of my 200 series Rear hatch covers are in initial production.. I'll post a separate thread on that once I have the final prototype I am happy with, but it will require no modification to your tailgate..(i.e. no cutting, etc..) but makes it into a table surface for camping, you can put hot pots on there as needed... stand on it, etc..

Thanks
-Rob

@rlynch356 thanks for the super quick order processing and shipping. Placed my order last Thursday and it arrived today. 35s here we come😀

I have 2 more kits left in this batch, the next batch prices will have to go up unfortunately, but seeing where I can minimize the impact.

I will go on back order once these sell out, hopefully will be July when the next batch is ready but there is a lot of Labor in each kit.
Just an FYI...

And the next Product will hopefully be done prototyping soon... it will require no modifications to your truck, is easily installed/removed and hopefully will benefit anyone who camps/wheels these rigs.
More soon.

Thanks
