What is the 2.5” socket for? I’m planning to get the jowett filter housing at some point…just wondering why I would need a 2.5” socket too.
It makes removing the housing easier.

It’s used to remove the filter housing. Jowett sells a very nice socket. Purchase one when with the housing. What is the 2.5” socket for? I’m planning to get the jowett filter housing at some point…just wondering why I would need a 2.5” socket too.

If anybody is looking to get rid of a JOWETT filter housing, please let me know. Interested in the unit but not available thru their page.
Thanks!
For folks that bought, get the oil pan spigot too?
Another side not of this is you keep your hands cleaner not having to grab/ remove the drain plugI did. Pulling a drain plug isn't exactly difficult but having the quick valve does take a bit of work out of it. I'd do it again and would recommend it.
