Another side not of this is you keep your hands cleaner not having to grab/ remove the drain plug![]()
It helps even more if you don't fumble it and have to fish it out of the drain pan. Not that I've ever done that. Definitely not.

As much as raising prices sucks, you might consider offering the product at a higher price. If aluminum drops a little more, I'll get after some.
In lieu of a group buy, you might also consider pre orders.I'll consider it... I've done that in the past.
Seconded. In lieu of a group buy, you might also consider pre orders.
Name your price, take pre orders over the course of a month, if you get enough pre orders to justify your order of materials or whatever, pull the trigger.
Otherwise refund the money. You could even include a few dollars in the pre order price that you say are non refundable to cover the cost of transaction fees for the refund.
Just a few ideas.
Deals done this way are a lot of work for the vendor and in many cases yield less than stellar results, present company excepted. In lieu of a group buy, you might also consider pre orders.

Is it gofundme that arranges these types of things? Like a company offers an idea, people buy in, and if the dollar amount gets to the right place, the deal goes forward and gofundme takes their percentage? I wonder if there are competing services to go fund me for small businesses? If not there probably should be…sort of a crowdfunded venture capital middle man/escrow holder.Deals done this way are a lot of work for the vendor and in many cases yield less than stellar results, present company excepted.

I’ve been checking your website once a month or so hoping to see them in stock. I would be willing to pre order or whatever you want.I'll consider it... I've done that in the past.
I agree with this... I also have been checking every month for a restock..In lieu of a group buy, you might also consider pre orders.
