This is very early stages. I have been looking for a market that sells TRD parts for the LC200, and found a gentleman in the Phillipines who says that he can order these.

I am asking what quantity he can order, as well as looking into shipping.

I imagine it’s going to be much cheaper to get multiple people in on this.

Is anyone interested in these parts?

Again, very early stages. Now that I know that there is parts availability in the Philippines, I may even look at using a different supplier as well.

Certainly open to any suggestions from the group for purchasing/importing parts from there. I just am excited to have found a place to buy these!

I didn't realize there were factory TRD parts offered for the 200.

What parts are we talking here?

Note that some of the parts, bumper are for the 2016+ years only.

That said, there are other parts that might be of interest to others that are non NA parts. For instance rear fog lights, which requires the harness, housing and stalk (and for the really OCD, dash panel).

Always cool to see 200s throughout my travels around the globe. This TRD 200 I spotted in Manila in 2022.

Can you get pricing on the carbon interior pieces?

Those flares might be a good way to hide a panel chop for those running 0-offset wheels and bigger tires. Look a lot better than the black plastic rivet-on things.

We just need someone who knows what they are doing with importing.

I found this place through ChatGPT.

But ideally we have someone who has experience doing this.

woah what is this sorcery? I had no idea these parts existed.

What does pricing look like for the wheels and skid plate?

I will ask.

Remember, I am dealing with a small business owner in the Phillipines. And I imagine shipping is going to be astronomical and take weeks.

These are going to be luxury items for TRD diehards.

I imagine the wheels are going to be priced at least as high as the heritage edition wheels here, which are $1700 each I believe.

And shipping/tariffs/customs clearance on this stuff is going to be high. Be prepared to pay like $1000 for each part. Could be less.
ChatGPT said to expect like $6000 to $12000 for a whole 20 foot shipping container.
I was considering buying like 5 each of part on there. He said he doesn’t know if he will be able to buy that kind of quantity, and said to expect like 2 or 3 of each part.

This is where I can use help of someone who has experience importing from there.

I do have some experience importing clothes and small items from China using ACBuy. But the size of the items means air mail is going to be prohibitive and will have to do ocean freight.

Current tariffs on parts from the Philippines is 19% but I'd be cautious right now. A lot of folks are getting sticker shock on tariff fees for car parts, maybe due to miscalculations or what not.

Interesting bit of history.... Toyota USA didn't want to sell TRD parts but two enterprising Filipinos started TRD USA according this video.....

Too be honest given the continued tariff uncertainty and shipping one would be better off planning a vacation and bringing the parts back themselves. The deminimis rule is still valid for personal travel when returning to the US.

There is a thread where a mud member and friend each brought back a LC 100 second row seat from the UK. Having done something similar I gave them the idea and help.

Awesome idea! Always wondered why Toyota never offered TRD items in U.S. but have a lot in Middle East and Asia.

I’m willing to do it for the muffler.

Hell yeah. Muffler seems easier to ship than doing fenders and bumpers.

Yes, as I mentioned, importing is the tricky part. Someone help us!

And it looks like they aren’t overflowing with TRD parts over there either -

OP in Phillipines confirms this in the video.

Perhaps the best way might be to keep looking for a different supplier who might be able to get more bulk. Or multiple suppliers, and warehouse them and do one big shipment.

You can also try contacting HKS, Nismo, Greddy, Blitz, Rays and more JDM Parts direct from Japan - Nengun Performance - https://www.nengun.com/ They already specialize in importing JDM products.

Or better yet, Dave Stedman @Japan4X4 who has helped tons of mud members procure parts from Japan.
The parts are not available in Japan. That would make this easier, because I have importers there. I have already checked multiple sources in the Middle East / GCC and Japan.

Need a plug for the Phillipines.
