I'm sure they are out there....

Any recommendation for a good quality set of JIS screwdrivers, mainly for the LC stuff.

Links, brand name, sources?

I'm looking but would appreciate any good info.

Thanks

Vessel Tools makes a JIS impact driver (you hit with a hammer). it's spendy but works magic.

thanks...Vessel tools seems to be one of the larger sources

one of the best purchases I ever made was a full set of gunsmith screwdrivers from Brownells. Something like 50 bits just for flat heads. Lots of thicknesses and widths. Can't ask for anything more when it comes to screws.

As I stated in your thread, Vessel Tools actually makes the JIS screwdrivers for Toyota that Toyota sells OTC. They used to be available in the US (CDan and I bought a bunch) but Toyota discontinued them> :(

They are still available OTC in Japan.

Just a bought a "motorcycle repair kit" of JIS screwdrivers from Vessel Tools to work on my 40. They are great! Got 10% off with the discount code IH8MUD. Can't remember who secured this discount, but there is a thread in this forum with the info.

Just looked - it was Weber Sarge. Thanks for your work on this!

yea...I posted this about the same time as other info showed up in the other thread.... appreciate the input..

I bought two from vessels off Amazon recently...good product, takes 2 weeks or so to get the items from Japan...or at least how they were shipped to me. Well made.

So happy I searched! Finally ordered some JIS screwdrivers. Thanks Sarge for the discount code!
