Hello all,

My name is Shane and I'm a Landcruiser owner. I've spent many years wheeling Chevys, but I have seen the light. I'll keep my Chevy truck, but when I wanted something to do everything I knew it had to be a Landcruiser.

I just purchased a 1994, and I love it! She's got 127,000 miles, all the bells, whistles and bling, lockers and a roof rack. Damn roof rack! No running boards, so that makes up for it, right? Anyways, back to what's important.........thanking all you guys here that helped give me the info to make an informed purchase and to show me what the fj80/fzj80 could do.

I figure the tuff parts over.....buying one, so now on to the fun...........BUYING PARTS!!!!!! What do I need........ lift, gears, tires, bumpers, and I look forward to making a call to C-Dan. Okay a little work first, change fluids, grease and give everything a once over. I just wanted to thank everyone again for all the good advice, tips and tricks you'll give me and I hope I can return the favor.

Best Regards
Shane

Congrats man !

This might sound dumb , but is your screen name supposed to be 'Bigshane' ?

Thanks Tyler!

You would think so wouldn't you. A couple guys at work started calling me that and it just kind of stuck.

Shane,
Welcome aboard!
There's a decent sized group of us 80s owners in the greater Sacramento area on this forum. PM me if you're interested in getting info on hooking up for runs/trips/etc. We also have a yahoo group (emails, etc.) if you're interested.

An offical Mud welcome:

And after you order parts from Cruiser Dan, don't piss him off in a thread. Remember, he has your credit card!

Actually, Dan is an honerable kind of guy. He wouldn't do that, would you Dan? (He has my CC Number)

Congrats Bigshone! C-Dan is definitely the guy to go to for your parts!

Its just a matter of time till he has your credit card info. Will be feeding his dogs soon myself!

Congrats again! :flipoff2:

You're right. Now comes the fun part. Take your time and do it slowly. Enjoy the truck and hope you keep it for a long time.

Thanks everyone!

Did anyone else catch this ?

Shane , you don't realize this now , but that is probably the most caring thing I have ever heard Junk say .. on here .

TY

PS : Don't get used to it .. nor be alarmed when he comes to his old self again ..
