I've been searching for a clean looking, black or dark gray, five or six spoke aftermarket wheel

And I can't seem to find it anywhere. I don't want any faux details, or anything else that garish. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Paint or powdercoat the factory alloys. They're spendy, but I've always like the look of the Volk wheels.

I think I am going to powder coat gloss black my factory 18's. These will be for sale for $500 if your interested. Thu are rhino Black wheels

The new 100 series wheel by FN Wheels is a nice clean minimalistic 5 spoke in gunmetal. No fake headlock with excessive grooves and hardware - almost factory like design.

Call and they will text you pics. Should be available end of next month.

It's a 17 and only weighs a guesstimated 26 lbs I think

Thanks for the recommendation. I just checked out FN's site, and their wheels look perfect.

Those Volk wheels also look great, but a little out of my budget.

If they're anything like the TRD ones they made, I can't wait to see em.

These are 8 spokes but around $700 will get a set to your door! They also have a better offset than the FN BFD's in my opinion. The new 100 series FN wheel is made specifically for our rides though and should be the best option. Most people feel that with the added sidewall that a 17" will allow you, that they would be best. As of now though there just aren't a lot of good 17" options out there in 5x150 and the right offset. My buddy has the BFD's in bronze and they do look frickin' great. His offset is +12 and that gives a really aggressive look. The offset above is a +35 and the 305/65R18's sit almost perfectly flush. They do stick out maybe half an inch or so. Just a little more understated than the BFD. If you are interested, they are Ultra Crusher 195's in satin black. Tire rack has them or I know a guy at SD Wheel that can probably save you a few bucks. PM me for his info if you want it.

These are great and actually have a good offset - it's the +12 on the BFD's that gets you into trouble.

I think the +35 and the 305's look perfect.

One of my concerns with the 17" is tire options

Thanks boz! I had done the math and was confident in the choice but even still, I was pleasantly surprised at how well the fit! :)

17" tire options are great 285/75/17 in Toyo and Nitto
I'm with you bomar, the 285/75R17 is almost identical overall to the 305/65R18 but with a little extra sidewall for low tire pressure fun and softer ride!!! I'm not sure that I would trade in my set-up for it though! Stoked!!!

can you guys fit the 305/65r18 in the spare location? I'm looking at the 285/75r17 toyo atII's and I can't find anyone running em on a 100 series. love some input!

Yes you can. You just have to push forward when you cinch it up.

TRD Rock Warrior with the bead locks removed for a clean look. Problem is most of the stuff these days has the fake beadlock. The Fuel Anza has a nice design and same with the Fuel Trophy. I just test fitted some of the trophys on my lx in the grey centers with the black fake beadlock. They are in 18"x9" with the +20 offset. No issues and no farting around with the front center cap or hub issues. I'n not big on the fake beadlocks these days but the color combo is subdued and looked really good. I will be putting them on with some 275/70/18 ko2's when they show up.
