I have a code reader as well if your interested. Looks like your friend does good work, thats nice to have especially if its cheap or for beer. Did you buy the leather and have him install or does he do interior work?

Thanks Arndog... we're in love...Nice 80.![]()
wow, it looks really good with the new rubber! The wheels look kinda like a hammered finish from the pics, but they do look good like that.
Ive got a white 80 with fjcruiser wheels on it and ive been debating painting them black as well, you may just push me to giving it a try.
Is there any good surfing towards baja this time of year?
Sweet ride! Did you trim the front mud flaps for the MT Sliders?
345-75-16 BF KM 2's those equal to 37's right ?...
Caster plates from MTWhat did you use for caster correction?
It's a 36+ like mentioned above...Im interested on the "Al's Liner" treatment.. what was the process.. just clean the wheel as best as you can and spray away?
I tried the rattle can but the paint just beads up like oil in water.....WTF??
I don't have many pics of the process, but I will say it's easier than I thought. We spent more time taping and preping than actually mixing and spraying. It comes with everything you need down to the mixing drill bit.
Thanks for any info..

Thanks for the kind words! She has come a long way, in a short time period. In regards to your 402 code, I took my truck to a local toyota shop (SD Trux) and they handled the rest along with a laundry list of other things.Great job on the work. It looks so different and so freaking powerful compared to the mall cruiser it was! BTW, I have the same code going, so I will be watching to see what your fix is. I need to get into it, but it has been so chilly, as of late, that I have not spent anytime in the garage. Need one of those parabolic heaters!
Oh, and welcome!
Now THAT is a beaut!
Looking good!
Looks familiar for some reason...
Oh yeah, meet its doppleganger...

White 80's rule!
Nice Job
You are wasting no time! Love the new tires. They look meaty. Now my girth is feeling inadequate. Although I have you on length by a few tenths.I went wheeling with a 3 other guys and I had the smallest tires amongst the bunch... no more tire envy.
