Time for a little up date on the 45......

I have decided to give her a heart transplant :D in the form of a 3B/H55/spiltcase from a 84 BJ60 in Canada eigh :beer: Fuel mileage should go from an abysmal 10mpg to hopefully 25+mpg especially after I throw the turbo on :grinpimp:

Engine left Canada, eigh, on Wednesday and should be here next Tuesday 5/22.... then the engine swap begins. Got about 3 weeks before Marshall and I leave for our 2500+ miles trip, so it should make for a fun couple of weeks :cheers:

So what kind of vacation are u sending your wife on...and when is she letting you out of the dog house

You're banking on a whole lot of stuff working right the first time, eigh?

Sometimes I wish I had the balls to make decisions like this...would make some aspects of life way more fun...eigh?

:popcorn::beer:

Wow. Nice JP!

thanks man I am super stoked, I can't wait to here the rattle of the ole 3B

And I thought I had a bold schedule to make the Colorado trip in July. You have me beat JP.:eek:

yes Jim, but you're much more likely to arrive at your destination in comfort and style than I:grinpimp:

You better go ahead and just put it in....don't look it over....it will only make for a better story when it blows up on you and Marshall half way across the country!!

I'm amazed you haven't flipped the bezel on the LV yet...

I'm glad to see you are more worried about sound proofing an open top LC rather than getting an engine in there....I think your priority list must be upside down, try flipping it over

The sound proofing is so he can sit in the empty engine bay and cry when his cruiser isn't ready to drive to MN.

but my logic is sound...... it is a little hard to spray the sound proofing with the engine in there ;)

wrong it is where I am going to be living when ME realizes how much coin I dropped on all this :doh:
