I'm about to install my Ironman supspension and can't figure which springs go in the front and the ones for the rear. One set the box says Toyo 12C and the other Toyo 13C. Someone told me to count the spirals and the one with the most is the rear. One spring has 8 spirals the other 11. Any clues about this???:hhmm:

The front were taller than the rear on my rig. Also the rear were a bigger diameter. I would guess the 11's go in the front and 8's in the rear. 80 springs are also driver/passenger specific. Longer springs go on driver/fuel tank side.

Yep, taller narrow springs to front, shorter wider springs to rear.

Good info. Please measure your before and after, I want to know how the ironman compares to the ome. The ironman looks a little more stout, at least in pictures online.

Already figured out and mounted!:bounce::bounce2:

You're gonna love the 4" kit. Did you get the foam filled shocks?

Sure did! Little more $$ but worth it. Still have to install caster bushings, longer brake lines, adjustable pan hard rods, and fabricate the rear sway bar extensions.

Haven't seen the OME's up close but these springs are beefy...:cheers:

Hey jvazquez53,

The truck looks great, if you need help or have any Q's about other parts just let me know.

Thanks! I still have to get the two pan hard adjustable rods. Seems that after 3 inches, since the OEM are fixed, pull the whole truck body about 3/4 to 1 inch.

Did you use the adjustable bushings or the fixed 2deg. bushings?

I used the fixed 2 degree bushings, those were the only available at this time. If I have a choice, I'll go for the adjustable ones. Still have to change the brake lines, (tomorrow).:cheers:

Since the kit came without the rear sway bar link extensions, I went and fabricated them. I recycled the OEM, cut the top thread,cut the base. Got a piece of 1/2 inch x 4 inch long round rod, welded the bottom part and the piece of threaded screw, and done! All I got left is to get a a longer brake line for the front, and then I can take the truck off road.:D
