This week I added a front bumper and some accessories:

Looks good Brock!

I can tell that the center tube sticks out a little farther for your LX than my LC bumper. Turn signals look good. You'll have to post a pic of the light pattern from the LED bar at night.

I tried to do one last night....but camera did not do it justice. I got the SPOT beam rather than FLOOD....standing in dark dirt road coming out of woods from hunting last night I checked LOW beam, HIGH beam, then added the LED bar and it filled the area completely and was able to go a bit further down the road. I think a 20" would be a significant improvement if I was out west where I needed long distance for high speed driving...but here in east where trees are thick and the distances when offroad are not that distant....I think it works great. Also for lonely back roads to give a little more distance and breadth to look for eyeballs contemplating jumping in front of me is a bonus.
I then turned off all my lights on LEXUS and only ran the LED BAR...and it was big improvement over the yellowish tint factory bulbs. To my eye...the 10" bar is equal to maybe two 5 inch Halogen lights...but the light pattern seems more even and full....I remember on Halogen you would have the really bright spot and then some fill around the beam...but on this bar it is more consistent light pattern if you understand what I mean. Their website shows it better than I can..... Plus the wavelength of the light is better in my opinion too.

Thanks for the comments.

Looking at truck from front angle...too bright to get in front of...

This is with all the lights turned off EXCEPT RIGID LIGHT BAR. I had not adjusted it yet for maximum distance and coverage...it was hitting the road not too far in front of me....but you can see how far it went on its own with the crummy adjustment. It is better now as I played with it after I took the pic but had a deer in back I needed to get to the processor for some tenderloins, hamburger and summer sausage to be made. :D I went out tonight after adjusting it for optimum distance and coverage and it definitely is not done justice by the picture below. I will try and take camera and get another tomorrow night.

Brock, the rig looks awesome! I am excited about getting with Mike for my front bumper, but thats not on the to-do list quite yet...lots of other things to get taken care of first. It will be worth the wait though, I'm sure.

I'm really diggin' the look of those LED signals. While they aren't needed on an LC, I might have Mike add them anyway. Redundancy is good...

Great looking set up, and i like the winch. I was looking at their site, and there is no weight. Do you know how much the 12 k weighs? Also, any clue if it will fit in an ARB combo?

The owners manual for the TW12 (12000lb) shows Net Weight- 88lbs (38kg) or Gross Weight- 95lbs (42kg). It is a heavy thing for sure but has 94feet of 3/8" cable...which I hope to change out to synthetic in a year or so....just had to save some money somewhere so kept cable. Cost me around $600 shipped to my front door from Ontario....

Looking at the specs of your titan winch, its the size of a warn9.5xp but able to handle 12,000lbs, might be a good choice for me and my fellow TJM bumper users...there arent many tho

Looks good, and different than all the ARB equipped rigs. Did it cost much more than an ARB? I think it is missing something on the front though. A lot of flat black steel there begging for stuff..

baseline price for the front bumper is $900 powdercoated, so it is cheaper than the ARB

...by quite a bit, actually.

Looks better and has better approach angles, too.

I have a beer opener coming to put there. LOL That area is for states that require front license plate...it has the two holes included already. Unless I put some type of plate there will just go with the beer opener for camping like I did on other rigs.

my issue with this bumpers is where is the cooling holes? The 100 has a lower radiator (obviously) and needs air flow to cool. The ARB has lower intakes and even with a winch air can get in there. Looks like no air can get down there, that would concern me. Does the BIOR have a rock guard so rocks can't kick up on the highway and damage the radiator, or is there a gap between the bumper and lower radiator?

Unless something was right in front of it (like cardboard in the wintertime), then it should be fine. Wheeling you're not getting much ram flow anyway. Maybe on the highway pulling a grade with a load on a hot day it would be a problem, but the fan clutch should engage and pull air through from below or through the grill.

The rock guard is a good point.

I dont think there is airflow issue personally given the design and other air inlet areas available with grill, opening in top of bumper, and winch fair lead opening. There is a space about 3 inches deep from back of bumper to front of crossmember but is only open to vertical movement not anything traveling horizontal or at angle from in front of that point like bouncing debris. I also talked to Mike about the concerns and he says the design is pretty much unchanged since he built his own and a couple years and tons of miles and wheeling it as hard as anyone...he has yet to have a stone or obstacle impact or nearly impact the radiator. Same for airflow issues...has been non issue but is willing to modify or add diverter to give more protection if someone is concerned.

Here are some pics of the lights on vehicle:

The first is OEM Low Beams

Second is OEM High Beams

Third is RIGID LED 10" Lightbar with SPOT Lens

I am going to try and get them down a long dark road by house as well for comparison on distance...but you can see not only the brighter spot in center above horizon line...but also the much wider and full dispersal light around it. It makes quite the difference on dark roads. :steer::clap:

Man...I gotta get me one of those.

Is the third high beams and LED or just LED. Either way looks bright!!!
