Thanks for that. It shows how you trimmed up the wheel wells. How about where the back bumper trim is, do you have the gap to the left I show in the below picture?

I left mine alone, I consider it a mini mud flap. ;) Actually I remember cutting off the tab for the bolt, but that's it.

And it does look like your rear trim is either shorter than mine or shifted towards the passenger. Also my bumper seems to be tucked in a little tighter but it's hard to tell from the pics.

That is really helpful. It does look like mine is not as wide. Lexus shows the same part number for 2003-2009. That is perplexing. Could I ask you to measure how wide it is at the top where it touches both sides? I would really appreciate it

What year is yours?

2003 and the width at the side closest to the vehicle is a hair over 51"- and it's part number 52161-60050 I think. That's the number I see when crawling underneath.

Mine measures the same. I wonder why the gap?

That's a mystery for sure- but it looks like my bumper is somehow sitting closer to the vehicle. That's probably not true but seems the only explanation.

Could you measure along the side how far back your bumper is. I thought it was as far forward as it could go, bit maybe I missed something

Here's how mine measures up. Hope this helps. You can see that the top of the bumper is touching the body- no gap at all.

I'm not even sure how you could move it. It's very secure on the frame and I don't think there's any adjustment to it. I haven't been under there in a while so I may be wrong

Well I can't say that there's any more adjustments you can make, but I did "install" the bumper twice.

First time I had all the frame bolts tightened then realized the hitch mount holes weren't quite lining up and the gaps on either side weren't equal. I removed all the frame bolts then started over with the hitch mount bolts first. That seemed to center it well and pull it closer to the truck. Then I added all the frame bolts and it's all lined up nice and tight. Hope that makes sense.

And the rear trim piece you put back on. Mine has gaps on both sides, is this the same for your install?

How did this end? ?? did you figure out the issue? what was the solution?

I tried to adjust there is still a gap, but it is smaller now.

BTW You can order the license plate bracket that they say will only work on the basket and drill two holes into the swing arm near the latch. The lights need to have small individual crimp on connectors so you can feed the wires through the License plate and bracket so you wont have to cut it if you ever need to take the plate off

Next time Rachel brings her truck over I will take some pictures
