Left Chicago in a 75' Hatteras 2 weeks ago today (10/10/07). Traveled the Illinois Waterway, Mississippi River, Ohio River, Tennessee River, Cumberland River, Ten-Tom waterway, and Gulf of Mexico. It's Fantasy Fest here in Key West, Sputnik 40 is our resident expert in that field, but it translates to loose women and free-flowing libations. Here thru the weekend and will behave myself, I promise. :D

This has been one good cruise (cruiser-content). Hope to be up and running again as-usual on Mud next week.

Cheers mates

PS We are burning on average 115 gallons of diesel per hour. Fuel bill for this floating palace has eclipsed $30,000 since leaving Chicago. PLease, don't ever complain about a 2F's MPG again.

Photos later. Off to Hog's Breath Saloon........

Wow, cool stuff Jim! I was on the crew of a 35' MK II that we picked up in northern Maryland and took to S Florida, mostly on the ICW. That was a blast but I can't imagine your voyage or that vessel.

75' Hatteras is one nice ride!!!

Have fun!!!

This thread is worthless without

1. pics of the ladies
2. a pic of that boat
3. a Mud salute.

lol

In my past experiences - pics of the ladies are only of those you see, not the naked ones that are with you. What happens in Key West stays in Key West - there's been some wild lady friend adventures - and I for one am taking a year off :D. Don't scare anyone with pics here Jim.

Jim - Apologies I'm not gonna make it - just feel I need a year off this time, and well - I'm not fully energized or funded to do it right...

As to Hogs Breathe - Hmmmmm, seems I had a front row corner balcony seat with several friends last year for the post parade show - we didn't even get kicked out until after 2 when 2 of my gurls decided to get unruly with a bouncer. Geez - what a good time. Whew - just thinking about it is exhausting.

Carry the torch, but like I tell Brandon - don't do as I do - do as I say :flipoff2:.

Some Pics of BAD INFLUENCE II

Here's some pics of the tub I spent the last two weeks on. No ladies pics, Sorry, (Heeding Sputnik's warning.)
Still in a fog from Key West.....

Did not think of floating from Chicago to West Palm. But since you did you could have detoured to the South Saluda to say hello!

The thing is powered by twin CAT 3412's. It is a 75 foot ski boat. :D

Sorry Hard40, We had enough trouble clearing some of the bridges on the Illinois River. Saluda would have been a tough one. Although, this thing would look good on Lake Jocassee.

Wow - what a ride!

Jim - Meeting up with John B. in Lake Worth Wednesday after work - drop me a line and let me know if you can make it.

Nice dingy there Capt'n.
You are soooo right about how sweet it would look on Jocassee.:grinpimp:

Don't know if there would be enough water to float. Went out there 3 mths ago and it was down 22ft. Looked like the moon.

Shoot, there's plenty of depth in one of the river channels, you just might not be able to turn around or go very far. :D

You should see the lakes down here...or should I say mudflats.

Yeah, I've never seen anything like this in my life. It is the worst drought on record here. Some areas are down to less than 100 days until the water supply is gone.

Was hoping for a wet, cold, snowy winter but it doesn't appear to be in the cards.
