yes that is a PTO, it is a ramsey........ wish it was toyota, but I am still siked about having a PTO.

shipping is a nightmare, I am going to spend nearly as much on it as on the vehicle alone....... but thats what happens when you guy a cruiser on the other side of the country

thanks for all the comments guys, I can't wait to get back to the Upstate and wheel with you guys

oh and Jim :flipoff2:.......

looks awesome JP.... I think you should keep the exhaust. it gives your cruiser that "unique" look haha anyways i am sure you will have that thing pretty before too long

Congrats on the new Cruiser, looks like a worthy vehicle to replace the red 40 you sold. Just don't drive too far with the top off, you might get loooopy from the exhaust stack. :hillbilly: Hey does that thing have nekkid girl mud flaps too?

:D

At least the bezel is installed correctly.

and it is the uber rare stamped "landcruiser" bezel....... that was a 1962 only feature :grinpimp:

feel free to take pot shots at the exhaust system :grinpimp:

That's a big 10-4 there good buddy!

I bet having to stop at all those weight stations sucks.

Truck stops are your friend.

I bet it has a big horn.

Naked lady mudflaps are a given

Does it have retreads?

You nailed it, Troll!!!

JP, how does the VIN compare to these: Oldest FJ40

Just curious, because if it was titled as a '62.........could be older. ;)

The VIN should start with a 1 or a 2 not F. Until around 1965 Toyota started the VIN with the last number of the year of production. I probably could have thrown of some of the hard top side if it had come thru Phoenix.

John

how about 16272................. I could really use hardtop sides and I imagine I willl be rolling thru phoenix again sometime on this tour, so maybe we can work something out

I may have an Aisin Carb from a 74 for you.

My blackmarket parts source has a 74 Aisin Carb that he says is in good shape, and was running well when he took it off for a customer last month (went with a 2f setup). It's another freebie, and if I can still get it, you have dibs if it will work on a vehicle as old as I am!:D

sorry for the hi-jack JP...

hey david, if JP ends up goin uber stock and retro aisin, would you be interested in selling that 74 carb? there's a guy in my club here in nashville that was lookin for a 74 about a month ago, figured i'd let you know if you or your source was trying to get rid of it...

Malph, it's yours now.

There is no cost for this, just trying to generate good Cruiser Karma. Are you going to be in the Upstate for the May 5 meeting or in Western NC anytime soon? If not, I can pack it up and mail it.
