I cant find any. I know I have seen them before. I even asked about it when it was for sale. Somebody help. Trying to decide if I want the 34x9.5's and this truck was perfect. Found these: https://forum.ih8mud.com/sc-upstate-cruisers/130323-shes-purty-again.html but would like to see some side shots or how those tires look from the rear.

That would be JPs truck before he rolled it on a flat trail.

the flat ones are sneaky :hillbilly:

mooker here are some pics right before I sold it last year; I loved the skinnys they are great for the mud and rocks we have around here....... also if you don't have power steering they will make slow speed turning much easier on you

*edit* damn it is early I just realized I posted the same pics you linked; unfortunately these are the only ones I have on this comp. I believe

heres a few more: https://forum.ih8mud.com/sc-upstate-cruisers/108420-who-wants.html

Thanks everyone. Those really help out with the decision. I love the skinny look.

Sorry to turn this into a "make fun of JP" thread

no worries, I deserve it....... I mean I did roll on trail one :hillbilly:

I repaired the 40 as good as new before I sold it to another club member Zach

this is her the day she rolled out of my life, note the sweet 100 Zach had just picked up early that day as well

prob closer to 5+ with the shackles..... you could run those tires easy with a 2.5" though......... I could have run 39's with the lift I had :D

My 4" lift is supposed to be here tomorrow. I am cutting the rear for TJ flares and I just think these tires may be too skinny but I love them. I want some Q78's but it may be a lot simpler to just go with a set of 35x12.5. My friend can get me H1 37x12.5x16.5 for around $150 a set and I could get 16.5" rims but the only problem is they all have 4-4.5" backspacing. So many choices. :crybaby:

I vote Q78's........ I am running those currently on my 80; but I think they would be perfect for a lifted 40...... the Q78's are going to measure about 36"x10.5"

you just can't beat a swamper TSL for offroad performance where we live down south; they flat out preform anything else in the mud we have down here

ask anyone that wheeled behind me this past weekend in the sloppy conditions up at the whee :D

JP's truck was awesome - and I'm sure still is. One thing you should note is that he was running some pretty hefty wheel spacers, and combined with the metal tech fenders really contributes to the look your seeing in the pics. I love tall skinnies (preferably in the 40" range :D) but that wider stance is what made it look even better.

I have pics somewhere of his 40, from back a few years ago when we cut the line thru Jim's property back to the powerline. I'll see if I can dig some out in the next day or so....

good point Bill; I had forgotten about those wheel spacers they where I believe 1.5" from marlin crawler........ you will need spacers to run those tires if you plan on running stock rims

Trying to figure out what I am going with still. The roomate just called and said UPS delivered my lift. I am ready to get it put on. Should be a busy weekend. I plan on putting the cage in, lift on, finishing the rocker guards and flares. I will have to post up some pictures this weekend of the progress.

she'll be a whole new beast after this weekend!!! Good Luck

a lift by yourself is a full day job.... I've done 3 now and 2 of basically by myself; they are very straight foward and easy just very labor intensive

after we put the OME lift on my girls 80 I found a new love for the 80....... they are so easy and painless to lift compared to the leaf sprung landcruisers
