It is a 1970 FJ40 hardtop US model.I've torn apart quite a few FJ40s and don't recognize that part. What year, model, market truck?
The countersinks are a dead giveway. I have yet to see a countersunk screw on a Land Cruiser. Not saying there isn't one, but...
Just off the top of my head can think of the small angle bracket the secured the door header to the windshield have two on each side, door catches instrument cluster, struts for the hard hatch and windshield pieces to hold the windshield up right have a bunch of counter sunk screws. That just thinking of the top of my head in a few minutes. So how many 40 series full time 4WD are there? Know there are a couple in the US but world wide who knows. But if this was Toyota's answer to Jeep's 1970s quadra Trac could only be in the US.There are more countersunk screws on a single 40 than there are factory full-time 4WD 40's in the world
And that part is not stock
There are some cs fittings--Hood hinges/windshield hinges/front door top bracket/door latches/amby door latch----but no thin brackets like thisThe countersinks are a dead giveway. I have yet to see a countersunk screw on a Land Cruiser. Not saying there isn't one, but...
Or you're not very good at it.For the second time yesterday, it was made painfully obvious to me that my keyboard is a very effective sarcasm filter...
I appreciate everyone's comments. It will go in the old parts box and will most likely become long forgotten.Looks homemade, nothing about that looks like how toyota made brackets.
or thatOr you're not very good at it.
