With all my issues this week being out of action I forgot to do the 3 drawings I had planned.

So tonight I will put all the members who attended the MLK ride in a hat and have Josie draw out the winners.

Prizes are

Your choice of Size of short sleeve T-shirt off of the Clubs Cafe Press Site
Your choice of Size of long sleeve t-shirt
Your choice of size of Hoodie or hooded sweatshirt.

Go here to see what we have. Most likely we can change anything on here to accomodate what you want.

Rough Riders Win!

So the pounding our backsides took paid off. The Cruiser Gods have smiled!
About 5:00 today I started getting to the bottom of my oil pressue problem. Evidence is not yet conclusive but the PO's engine builder did re-use the original oil pump. Scoring in the pump housing at the pump gears is something aweful.

I tested the pump and it has flow but I doubt pressure. This would be consistant with low gauge pressure and low oil to the valves. If the head gasket was inverted I wouldn't get any oil to the valve train and I was getting a little.

If the numnut didn't line up the cam shaft bearing with the oil port I will have to pull the engine. Before I get this extreme though I will install the new pump and with luck this will solve the prob.

Wish me luck. I'll have the new pump by Tuesday...Ralph Hayes via the left Bank (Cal.)
