You have to go and consult the boss of Hiap Li, he was the one who imported set rims for all the 79 owner.;)

Thanks Wong! Can u give me the address of Hiap Li? Is it a wheel shop?

Thank you! =D

Got my rubber changed to 285/75/16.:D
Initially, wanted the size of 305/70/16. Due to the explode look with of my 16X8 OZ rim. I have decided to go for skinny look of 285/75/16 maxxis mudder buckshot.:) Thailand boy!!

Wong, how you convert the rear drum brake into disc brake? :hmm:
Are the thailand tyre expensive?

Not converted.
Used part HZJ73 locker axle from Japan.:D
RM700 per pcs maxxis.

Does it improves ur braking distance? Can I use 73 axle if I want to carry heavy load?

Is it more durable than silverstone? Silverstone MT-117EX has roughly the same thread pattern and price.

Disc brake definitely shorten the braking distance and tends to lock up the wheel.
Given a test drive today with my new rubber, the tacho dropped to 2350rpm then previous 2400 rpm with the speed of 100km/h. Smooth as silk with 5 hours of riding on my new tires.:)
Vastly improve the speed.

is it easy to get new spare part for ur rear brake rotor?
big tire is good for powerful engine in highway =D

My rear disc was from 80 series rotor and hub. 80 series parts are found everywhere in the world.;)
Big tires are stand tall, cruising with low tacho, stability on highway, run fast........
:whoops: I don't see disadvantages with big rubber.

oh so 80 series rear disc can be bolt into hzj73 axle.
disadvantages for low powered engine such as 1hz when climbing hill :frown:

Yes, as long as you swap the 70 series hub for an 80 series hub. The 70 and 80 series rear hubs are different which is why you cannot drop the 80 series rotors on the 70 series FF RAX. Calipers are the same though.

You can use the 03-07 4Runner rear rotor with the 70 series, that's what I'm running on the rear of my HZJ-75 right now.

Provided that the axle is a disc to disc basis, NOT disc to drum:crybaby:.
1HZ run fine on climbing hill without load. :D

I was wondering whether the 80 series front BIG rotor, hub and caliper will swap into 75 front axle??:hmm:
I'm considering it if possible.:)

I don't think so, the spindles are different. Pretty much plug and play for the 40/60 series stuff with the V6 4Runner/Hilux calipers. You probably could swap the 80 series axle in if you could figure out the steering bit.

What is the different between the spindle??:hmm:
Not really having the idea of swapping a 80 series axle, want the stock axle.:crybaby:

Wong, do u use ur 75 to carry heavy load?
80 series axle is comfortable =D
