Another thing, Australia is the only country in the world that offered 100 series with solid axle and those rims will fit into a 79.
Malaysia 100 series are fully imported from Japan and is with independent wishbone in front. On top of that, those rims will required some spacers in order to fit into 79.;p
Ya I noticed the difference when I saw a 105 series ambulance here. I think that ambulance is imported from Aus as it has different back door and its back hub is protruded outwards. http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/ファイル:Toyota_Land_Cruiser_HZJ105_1998-2004_backleft_2008-06-04_U.jpg

My steel rim is the heaviest & ugliest :crybaby: The prettiest rim is the current hzj79 GXL "star" oem rims. However it is 16x7 and I can't find a seller through the internet.

It's selling on internet, please do some homework.:D The price is quite heavy.:bang:
But they do have some that Made in China, relatively cheap.:p Exactly the shape and size.

Hey Wong,

The rear leafs are rooted and flat with nothing in the back,I have a full rear tank and the back of the Ute is full of my old steel rims and tyres.the steering is nice and light ;)

I think ishobie runs or ran a set of ifs rims not sure about spacers.

I seen a hdj100 with the 105 alloys on it the same as mine and they stuck outside the wheel arches and looked wrong.

That will looks ugly with front taller than the rear.:crybaby:
Did you lift up the front with aftermarket suspension?

I have actually taken the 1" coil spacer out from the front before the pic was taken lol.

If i buy new leafs i know they wont have any comfort, plus if im lucky enough to find some shed space one day i can chuck all my coil gear in the back end

I think they also are the nicest landcruiser rim out but there let down is beign 7" wide.

ROH make rims for our Aussie performance cars, even though the rims are made by roh there classed as the cars brand, like roh and hsv (holden special vehicle)
I think this is what toyota Australia did with ROH for the 105 series alloys like mine.
http://www.roh.com.au/4wdsuvseriesimpact.php
The rims in the link besides the paint colour look identical to the alloys you got on the 105 series when ordered new and ticked the box for alloys.
My 5th alloy spare is a roh one and i cant tell the difference besides it and my toyota alloys.
you can order them with out black i think there around $220au per rim.

Definitely not in Malaysia where you can source out this OEM rim.
We have aftermarket rim only at KK
If you insist on OEM, Australia will be the place to source and need some shipping cost.:whoops:
price range for oem rim will be AU 2 - 3k:bang: for a set of 4 or 5 pcs

Nice! The longer I stare at it, the more I feel that rim is from outer space :grinpimp: Is it durable for heavy load? I often carry 2000-2200kg of load at my tray back. Therefore the total weight including my truck is 4500kg.

Wong, I saw one 79 in Tawau with that oem rim. I wonder around how much is the shipping cost? I think he imported it mostly by sea :hhmm:

The most toughest steel rim your can get is the 16x8 Toyota rim there thick as hell and just as heavy but to bend one you would be doing a good job.
I've bent sunrasia and roh steel rims but never the OEM 105 series 16x8.

sunraysia looks thin in the middle part, too many holes :hillbilly:. What is the weight of per roh alloy rim u are currently using?

What you want to do with your 75?:confused:
Looking to keep it clean and simple with good road manners, Would like to run up to a 35" tire. This truck is gonna be my new hunting rig, So i'll be looking for handling and economy. Thanx and i'll be sure and look into the other companys listed .

From doing jumps in the sand dunes, one rim wrapped around the front disk and pancaked out others from different times had stress marks in the steel just above the wheel nuts were it against the hub and starts going to the "spokes" as such
