I bought it at RM240 (genuine toyota part) per pcs about 2 years back when I did my restoration work. Used is half of the price from Australia (almost as new looking except a bit of scratches on the lens).
OEM is selling at RM4k for front and rear.
Should be around that price for king.Using the stock axle with cutting and welding of the 80 series spring hat, perches, arms.....

Well, I tried to put the 80 series rotors on the 75 series axle and even with the 80 series hub, it still won't work. Two problems that I can see that stems from the difference in the rotors. The outer and the inner (PB drum) diameters are larger for the 80 series. For the overall diameter being larger, the parking brake backing plate/dust shield it smaller, so you cannot drop the 80 series rotor in without either bending or cutting off the lip of the backing plate. Second, the center hub/drum area is also a larger diameter, which may be enough that the parking brake might not grab the rotor.
I think you'd have to swap over the backing plate and maybe parking brake bits off an 80 series axle to fit the 80 series rotors on. Too much work just to fit an 80 series rotor when you use the same caliper

Did you do your experiment on the rear or on the front?
I did some homework today. The result is not that optimistic for the front big rotor 80 series swap in a 75 stock axle.
Overall, the only one and major issue is the big caliper not able to slot in. The distance between the 2 bolts for 80 series is 130mm
and 75 is only at 85mm.

I did the rear end. Ultimately I don't think you'd gain much on the rear axle anyway as you have the same caliper and it looks like the rotors are the same thickness. I guess I'll have to live with what I gots
. I did upgrade all the soft lines with stainless braided, hopefully that will give a little better pedal feel.

Not the right time to love a shorty now. The price is too extreme, mudah selling a shorty for RM65K. Crazy price.

No ....I means the workers will not take care the truck because it won't use on the road...I saw many company just use their Hilux in jungle after one year the Hilux look like scrap metal

To me, RM30K is huge investment for a shorty. Doesn't worth that amount. Shorty is selling like a hot cake now, everybody wants it. Have you ever thought that someday everyone discard it??? What will be the value??
Unlike a 70 HD series, is worth every penny that you spent. Just my thought.NO! Locally made.
Not an easy task to buy the fender flare.
You can buy the front overfender locally but not the rear flare.

Abundant of BJ40, but the major issue is the condition of the cruiser.
Not easy to grasp a decent shape BJ. coming to 40 years old.
