Hey all,

Just recently purchased a new 2021 LC, awaiting delivery in about a week or so. As I'm completely new to the LC community, I have no idea if this has been asked before so pardon me if this post is repetitive.

Was looking into rubber mats to protect the interior, anyone have any recommendations? Should I stick with the OEM Toyota mats or invest in aftermarket? If so, which brand would you guys recommend between WeatherTech and Husky?

Thanks!

Husky 100% IMO, I have had both. I say that because they are softer and don’t look bent in the corners after time goes on.
Weather tech 2nd row seat covers are great if you have small kids or a dog.

Agreed with the above. Husky is a better mat in the 200 for the front seat. I have also had both. The rear liner for Husky is just ok.

Husky makes the better mat, anyone who says otherwise is either in denial or has never owned Husky mats.

I have had Husky and prefer the Weathertech.

I am bit of a floor mat junkie and evaluated all options.

For front: Husky, no doubt. Much better than Weathertech in look & feel, and better in coverage than OEM. I like Weathertech in my other vehicles, but definitely not in the 200.

For 2nd row: OEM. Best coverage, fit and pliability.

For cargo w/3rd row: AUSDM OEM for same reasons as below. 2nd Husky. Don't like Weathertech at all.

For cargo wo/3rd row: AUSDM OEM over USDM OEM - Australian mat is much heavier real rubber. USDM mat is bit of the plasticky rigid flavor but is acceptable (costs third of the Aussie mat with shipping to the US).

I guess I’m odd ball out. I’ve had all three. Husky better than weathertech, OEM rubber is my favorite

Apparently I need to get ahold of one of these OEM cargo mats.

Having “LAND CRUISER” namesake on the OEM mats helps to remind me that i drive a Land Cruiser...otherwise, i keep on thinking that i am in a Highlander....

So, yeah, i prefer OEM. But i am thinking about WT cargo mat due to optional cover over lower clamshell door.

I'm not impressed with my Husky liners. I had to trim the 2nd row around the front seat mount points. The hucky liners have a front lip that blocks the rear vent. I've contemplated putting the factory liners in the second row.

I would agree that Husky is somewhat better than Weathertech. However, I found both to be too slick for my liking and ordered the Maxpider Kagu mats. They may not hold as much liquid as Husky or Weathertech, but they are much better from a feel and traction perspective.

Had all three before. When took delivery last week of my HE to my surprise got rubber mats instead of cloth. Actully those are pretty good. Had weather tech and husky and both did the job. What I did Like about those laser fit mats is the lip around which contained well dirt. With OEM I like the rubber.
