I have read through this thread several times in preparation for a body lift to accommodate my new 35s. I was going to go with the 1/2" BL, but am considering the 3/4" BL, just for the extra clearance between my tires and the fenders (running 1 1/4" spacers on the front, with 285-75-18 Toyo MTs on Tundra steelies).
Is there any additional items that need to be considered when going from 1/2" BL to 3/4" BL (or even 1" BL) besides the original concerns with BLs in general (new/longer bolts, removing/modifying the "offending bolts", disconnect the lower portion of inner engine compartment/fenderwell plastic, and trim lower radiator fan shroud).
I want to have everything ready and accounted for when I begin this project.
And will 1/2" or 3/4" BL eliminate my fender contact (and rub on my windshield washer reservoir) with these tires/wheel/spacer combo without having to sacrifice front end articulation? Or should I consider a 1" BL?
