I knew you would appreciate the comedy. Does everything backasswards and most of the youtube commenters are singing his praises like he's MENSA.
I’d be surprised if his frankenyota even starts. The starter looked possibly original and it WAS RIGHT THERE. Also, did he use torque wrench on any of those bolts or just 1/4” ugga duggas?I knew you would appreciate the comedy. the valve cover gaskets? The dude took an engine apart and got it back together. He’s not the least bit worried of it not starting cause he knows he can figure it out if it doesn’t.
-talk smack all you want but give the dude credit for tackling a job like that with no fear.
Just thought I'd leave this here...
I haven't followed along completely, but why was there an injector spraying errant fuel? Bad install? Failed oring?
Ill start by saying at least he didnt get hurt. Thankfully the truck caught fire keeping everyone on the road safer for a few months. Its unfortunate the fire crew didnt stop for coffee on the way there so the garage burnt down keeping everyone safe even longer.
Did mine last year at 250,000k miles and didn't have a single issue with stubborn bolts, but maybe I got lucky. I feel like if they were previously torqued correctly and it's not a complete rust bucket, it shouldn't give you a huge fuss. The fella in the video lives in a harsh winter environment and who knows where that engine came from and how long it may have sat.ima bout to take on the valve cover gaskets and as fun as this was to watch im not excited about breaking bolts. has anyone else broken bolts on these covers?
Welcome to MUD.Sorry I don't show every step in detail for you keyboard warriors.
I replaced the bottom injector seals, because they looked toast. The tops LOOKED fine, so once again to save money I opted not to, obviously I should have.
