Yup HG time. Might as well go all in and pull it out and rebuild it bottem up.

It’s be fun!
I'd pull the engine and rebuild it; bearings pistons, etc , etc.
But, it depends on what you want, i.e., your intended use case. If you want basically a new vehicle that is stone cold reliable for more than a few years, then it's worth it. Provided you do it yourself. Paying someone else is expensive and deprives you of developing a deep knowledge and trust in your vehicle.
Best of luck whatever you decide

I did the head gasket on my 94 in 2015 at 250 K miles. It’s been stoned dead reliable, and still running strong.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it

My vehicle had 372k miles. Pulling the engine isn't difficult and makes every job easy. I wanted (needed) a vehicle I could rely on like new for solo hunting trips in Montana in the middle of nowhere in December. While technically not "broken" replacing seals, bearings, pistons, timing chain, PS pump, alternator, starter, etc. Is cheap compared to walking 40 miles in the dark at zero degrees 'cause a $10 rod bearing decided that 410,000 miles was all it had in it.
If all I did was in my home suburb; different story.

FJ80Oregon has rebuilt a lot of these motors, Check out his posts. He recently posted that he had a motor about ready to go. You could try asking him to work a trade-in deal using your old motor for credit toward one of his rebuilt motors?

Mine’s definitely not a mall crawler 😜
Not sure what the OP plans to do with his but I doubt he’s gonna be hunting at night in Montana in subzero weather.

This is random but where is this blue connection connect to?

I just saw it like this when I removed the cover.

Hard to tell where your at , but our rigs did not get every thing a cruiser could have and if you look at the dash you can see blanks were things like the center diff lock button go's.
Most's likely it's fine 😎

Did you add the switch ? I’m thinking about doing so

Yes I did 😍

With it you can get the lockers to work in high range if you have them.

This is where the climate control is. Just saw that blue connection hanging.

When you’re posting pictures pull back so we can see.
I still think it’s the center diff lock plug.

Got you. Thank you, I'll check it out.

Alright, i need y’all help again with the harnesses.

These are not plug in when I open the dash. I couldn’t find an exact front face model of 1994 Landcruiser so I can’t refer what are these as you can see the PO replaced bunch of buttons with lights. Lol

What you have labeled as "I" is the connector for the CDL switch with the factory jumper attached that has the single yellow wire. I don't remember the other connectors are specifically but there is only one way to connect things as they are all different connectors with the different keyways in different positions.

I have used a few but there were at least 6 blanks on my 94 dash, so I'm not surprised at the extra plugs back there.

What is it that your doing back there, I have never had my dash that far apart 😜
