$3,950 is almost what I paid for my truck... but it’s also way less than a lot of people paid for theirs... so...Im rather certain ive stumbled across the perfect Tow behind trailer for out 60s. Its light at aprox 400lbs. Has storage space. Wonderijg how durable the suspensions are it if the suspension can be beefed up for off road....ohhh and they are plentiful AND Cheap AF!!!

Cant look at 1 price + say they are ALL $3,900. Lol.... Huge range. I also like the idea of a platform in my rig...i also like the idea of a 'base camp' that dsnt need to be set up/torn down everytime i wanna drive off. I travel ALOT and desperately want outta Hotels and Air BnBs as they are getting silly pricey. Im headed to Fla for 3 weeks and the Air BnB cost me $1,700. 1 trip nearly 1/2 that set up. Id be just as comfy in a tent like that for 3 weeks.$3,950 is almost what I paid for my truck... but it’s also way less than a lot of people paid for theirs... so...
I want to take a rear 60 axle and mount it to a light frame and build a box ontop of it for a camper. But I also built a storage/sleeping platform in the back of my truck and I can’t justify towing anything now.
I think I paid around $150 for the lumber and hardware. I tossed the rear bench seat and I use that area for storage. Those rear seats with no headrests or 3 point belts are coffin fillers anyway. I still need to install some hinges for the storage areas and I need some carpet so the dog doesn’t have to skate around all day. But I seriously love having the platform. It’s way more useful and practical than towing a camper. Now, if you had a family traveling with you or you had multiple vehicles that you take out, I can defiantly see the upside to towing a camper. But unless you’ve got a big v8 engine swapped in I just don’t think the 60 is the vehicle to use.Cant look at 1 price + say they are ALL $3,900. Lol.... Huge range. Think you missed the part where the abv pull behinds weigh 400 lbs...even the 60s can handle that. LolI think I paid around $150 for the lumber and hardware. Lol I still don’t want to tow anything in my 60. I struggle to get to the top of the valley coming out of Boulder.... I really need that sniper...Think you missed the part where the abv pull behinds weigh 400 lbs...even the 60s can handle that. Lol

Maybe your wood platform is bogging you down....lolololLol I still don’t want to tow anything in my 60. I struggle to get to the top of the valley coming out of Boulder.... I really need that sniper...
It’s one and a half sheets of 1/2 plywood and 4-5 1x2s. I think my 100 pound iron roof rack, 5 gallon shower and curtain, 3x5 gal gas cans and various other stuff on the roof combined with a leaky carb and 280,000 miles on the engine that are bogging me down.Maybe your wood platform is bogging you down....lololol
True words. It’s not about what you can pull... it’s about what you can STOP!!!
Most definitelyIt’s not about what you can pull... it’s about what you can STOP!!!
V8 cough coughLol I still don’t want to tow anything in my 60. I struggle to get to the top of the valley coming out of Boulder.... I really need that sniper...
