hood/cowl weatherstripping question? (1 Viewer)

I have the hood rest pads but it seems there should be something between the hood and the cowl area. Am I missing something I have searched but do not see any. It just seems as if there should be.

Some later model years did get that ... Called the "hood to cowl seal"

Thanks, I assumed my '72 did not as I could not find any photos showing such.

However I use a seal on mine (74') ... It is a simple presson type one from a 60 series door

Personally, I'd go without any seal as it allows more under hood heat to escape from my point of view.

Sure you do just not the same kind of heat, you're probably more concerned with block heaters.
