Oh man, expedition build most likely, possibly sell one but which one?? It'd be hard! Prolly give to an editor to build and use, I'm not sure yet.

Dave

Hmmmm, have any editors expressed desire yet?
;)

Now David, I expect to see at least 4 publications with a 8 page photo lay-out each time edition on each of the rigs including any and all work that is done to them. I would suggest one resto (the second one posted-it looks cleaner) and the other maybe something like 42 IROKs with only an SOA on stocksprings for stability. I would think ARB or E-Lockers would be a good choice.

Currently looking for an editorial job...........

Prospective employers must supply vehicle.

can I be an editor...I sure would express an intrest to build one...:flipoff2:

awesome find, you are a lucky man, you should keep both and build one to a hardcore expo rig, and the other to all origional and do a full restoration on it. No matter what you do keep us posted

Holy crap is right...you owe me sock;)

Can we expect a write up on these bad boys and some info on the importation process?

Looking forward to the builds!

yes on both counts, importation especially I have learned a LOT about.

Dave

who did you use and if you dont mind me asking...How much to ship accross the big pond?

Also curious what your into them once you got them over...hope were not getting to personal. Those are just bada$$ and Im sure were not the only 2 wondering how much cost and hassle it is to get them imported.

Wow Great looking troopies. While I would say, mild, wild no, one should definitely be expedition. you've got a great start on that with the first rig with dual batts, dual gas and water tanks. I want to say DD with the second rig but I'm having trouble imagining a DD that seats 11:hhmm:. Maybe there's the challenge, coming up with a reasonable set up for a DD that has that kind of space. Maybe add to that design challenge and see if you can run the DD as a bifuel rig or use one of the alternative fuels only. Anyway you cut it great rigs, great find and great mag.
Regards,
John

Hey guys check with Cruiser 007 as he just imported a Troopy last year. I think all in it was around $5k. My cousin in Melbourne has a pretty cool Troopy I have dibs on should he ever part with it. They live on a farm and use it as their farm truck. Evidently the goats want it too.

I'd better subscribe to your magazine if you're going to be doing a writeup on the troopy
