Hockey pucks for body mounts??? (1 Viewer)

All my body mounts are bad and I heard that hockey pucks work really well for the body mounts that attach to the frame.

Anyoneever done this and what kind of pucks should I use or is there any other type of material that you all recommend?

My son used pucks for his ranger lift they cracked and he ended up doing it the right way. m2c

I used Energy Suspension, but DayStar makes one almost identical to stock, with the exception of using polyurethane instead of rubber for the isolators.
I am happy with the Energy Suspension mounts, FWIW

In the Sahara in 50C weather they should maybe have some flex, but around our parts, not!!!

I have had a Energy Suspension kit on order for weeks and they are still on back order! I searched and found several references to DayStar making body mount kits for Cruisers but their site does not list a FJ40 application. Does anyone have a link to a DayStar kit or know of an instock location for an Energy Suspension kit? I just can't see paying CCOT $159 (on sale even!) for these...
