Not bad huh! I just didn't tell him it sch 120 PVC, amazining what you can do with plastic.

So when can I come by and use the dies for the bender to fab up a stinger? I was going to do it myself, but you do such pretty work.:cheers: The pictures do not do the rockers justice. The ould have been nice if they had simple 90* bends, but you wnet out there with the compound turns. Very nice.

Nice build BTW!!!

no body lift
4" lift springs (soft 4" slee front and js rear)
with a 1.5" steel spacers I made for up front. so realy its 5.5" lift in front and 4" in rear

also the front has 5.5" total bump extension (1.5" spacer puts the bump 1.5" lower, + 2" slee aluminum spacer, + my 2" billit spacer on the axle side)

rear has 5" total bump extension (4" billit custom spacer at the frame and 1" spacer at the axle side)

got everything for the ram(s). Going to do mine first before I help neighbor. He is goign tosend his box to WTO. When do you want o help me tap my steering box?

As I was looking at pics of your rig (Dusty), and looking at the naked rear crossmember, I imagined some sort of quarter protection that bolts to the side of the frame to complete a "bumper".

Kept on reading, and there they are!

Sweet...

Dustin, I was looking at your CB antenea and it is way to short and will not work for your rig at all unless you move it to your roof. Your antenea must be at least 1/3 it's lenght above your roof line. Yours is like 1" above. In other words, you are killing your signal and probably going to fry your CB because I would bet an SWR would be reading around 4. It should be 1:1.5:1, yours is 4:4:4. That will fry it really fast if you try to transmit.

I would kill to have a solid metal roof where I could mount my antenea in the middle of the roof. You do not need a solid one like you have, just get a 3' whip with spring base. You will get way better prformance and be able to transmit 10+ miles easily.

rushed through a tire carrier

I still will usually keep the spare in the cargo hold but for this next trip I need the space in the back of the truck to haul stuff. the fam has agreed to come on this one. All 4 kids and the princess herself. Slee sent me a roof rack and some 4" heavies for the rear-replacing the jsprings that were back there. hope all goes well. we will be heading into the sierras this friday for a few days of camping and doing some fairly difficult wheeling. I hope dans 40 can hold itself together.

and Dan whats with the uhaul cargo hauler? we are only going to be gone for 2 nights you know.

ill hopefully mount the tire carrier tom. I need someone to help me lift the tire onto the carrier

Nice... got the same bender and then went to the cheapo harbor freight hydro jack with the copperhead fab kit. Even though the kit from copperhead was LESS THAN STELLAR the hydro is slick and allowed me to mount it to a cart so I can move the bender around. Bend Tech is nice too.
