Does anything mount in these two holes or just bolts?

Vehicle is a 1977 FJ40.

Looks like the bolt holes for the cover on the front of the flywheel housing--just rear of the oil pan---I think they are M-8X1.25??

It's actually the front part of the bellhousing.

yes and the bolts hold the clutch inspection cover tight to the bell housing.
