Can’t find the male plug anywhere and wondering if it was removed by PO. Both wires black with white stripe.

I deleted all the smog-related and other unused wiring from my 79 recently. Not sure, but that looks like a connector I removed, same type, same location. I guessed it was some sort of smog-related sensor that had been removed by the PO.Can’t find the male plug anywhere and wondering if it was removed by PO. Both wires black with white stripe.
TIA!

That makes sense. I removed my AC option wiring when deleting my smog wiring. Thanks for solving my mystery too.Apparently you don’t have the optional A/C. That plug was pre-wired into the harness for the pressure switch that would have been located on the high pressure hose running between the inner fender well and the battery tray. My 40 is a 79 with (first year available option) Nippondenso A/C.View attachment 3900715
