Hey gang. I paid someone to retrofit some HID projectors into my 2002 headlamps, and they didn't do a great job. In fact, they did a really, really bad job. Aside from a half-melted tab and scratched shrouds, the headlight housings no longer adjust up and down, OR right and left. I suspect it's because the projectors are mashed so far towards the front that they're literally scratching the glass. Take a look:

Things don't look much better at the back (with the rubber seal removed) - The reflector bowl was cut down to an uneven surface, and not sealed up at all:

I know I can't undo all of this bovine workmanship, but what's my best course of action here? I will work on a refund for sure but really don't want to send these back to the original "retrofitter". Should I open this up, sand down the back so that it's a little flatter, then move the projector back so that it can get around more freely within the housing?
