Way too expensive, and not the right way. The front fzj80 harness is about $35 from beno.

You can use DPDT switches like in this kit. I've done it temporarily. The problem is that you're passing the motor current through the sensor circuits. They are not sized for this task and will likely not be reliable over time. If you do it, add a big power resistor to the circuit.

I have dual e-lockers in my SOA '76. I just got them all together and working earlier this year. This controller is $15 worth of surplus parts and about 4 hours of soldering. I understand the problem well enough now that I can draw the circuit from memory, or debug it without a drawing.

Looks like I got everything I need to make it work from the factory harness. I guess it was worth the time to pull it all. Thanks to Chris for the wiring diagram.

Well I went through the whole harness. What a PITA. Here is what I have. I also traced it back to the main fuse power and it operates of one relay.

Top is the computer.

Bottom left goes to the rear diff
Bottom middles is the switch
Middle middle are two wires that went to the dash from the computer
Bottom right goes to the front diff

There is one wire off each diff loom that also went to the dash. I'm assuming those match up with the computer wires to the indicator lights on the dash.

The relay had for wires. I traced three of them and have no idea where the fourth one goes because there are no wires left in the harness.

There is a blue and black that goes to the relay from the switch. A blue that sourced the power from the fuse and a white and black that sourced the ground. Then there is a green and orange from the relay that I'm not sure where it went. Maybe the center diff lock? Anyone have an idea?

do you have this harness or can you make one?
