Just a quick bump... I am the friend. Looking for one already titled and registered in the USA. Closer to Colorado the better, but willing to travel and/or pay to ship the right truck. Manual mated to a 1HD-T or 1HD-FT strongly preferred, does not need to have factory F/R lockers.

you will be hard pressed to find something in decent condition at that price with those miles and 5-speed. even in europe they will be around 25-30K plus shipping and customs/registration. don't be afraid to look at higher mileage.

I have a creampuff JDM 1995 1HD-FT Triple locker AUTO with about 170,000 KM. 6M1 Dark emerald pearl. It is a VX limited.
Single owner in japan, registered right until before auction. I have the auction sheet, and it was a grade 4 truck. Interior is impeccable, even the seat back map pocket meshes. I have most of its original service records from japan. Mileage and everything checks out using translate, including original owners name.
I have driven it DAILY for about 3 years now. Garaged and I work from home. Always keep up with maintenance ( I am an Airplane mechanic), but going from its service records, it was obsessively maintained in japan and it shows.
I drive it 2x a week round trip from West Palm beach to Miami and have installed a USDM cruise ECU. Can cruise at 80 MPH all day if you want. Diesel has plenty of power. I get no less than 16 mpg worst case, and about 18-21 on average.
I have a few mods on it. OME BP51 2.5 inch lift, DELTA VS caster correcting radius arms with new bushings, ARB Winch bull bar, COME UP winch seal (top of the line) winch 12,500 lbs. Stock wheels with brand new Toyo open country AT3 315/75/r16 tires ( including spare)
I'm in Miami, and while not officially for sale, I'm considering it since I want a LHD truck.
Not sure if expensive, but id be willing to negotiate in the 30-35K range if anyone wanted it. Not really pressured to sell either, but willing if someone does like it.
