*SOLD* 1996 HDJ80 VX, 4.2 liter 24-Valve, Manual Shift, Left-Hand Drive, Triple-Locked, Part-Time 4WD Kit with AISIN Manual Locking Hubs. Dual batteries with cutoff switches, Engine completely rebuilt using OEM parts including new water pump, fan clutch, and timing belt, Turbo rebuilt, diesel injection pump rebuilt, EGR system delete, new clutch, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, pilot bearing, and flywheel re-surfaced. T-case rebuilt using gear reduction Sumo Gears, New window regulators up front (AISIN), Full 3" stainless exhaust, New OEM Hood Struts, many other small parts. All work was completed March 2025.
Imported this from the Canaries in early '23, I believe. (I would have to check to be sure) Cost me a little over $30k to get it here. It ran great with no problems, but not knowing the history of it, I decided to have the engine rebuilt. All work was done at OTM Cruisers in Birmingham, AL. Cost approximately $20k+. It runs and drives great with lots of power. I just scratched that itch, and I'm kind of over it and ready for something else. Absolutely no rust, and I've never taken it off road. Doesn't look like anyone else has either, but who knows. It has a clean TN title that I have in hand, as well as all of the import documentation. No dents, no scratches. Interior is excellent with no wear on the seats at all and no cracks in the dash. The owner of OTM said it was the nicest one he's ever seen, as well as the best driving one he's ever driven.
I don't have many good pics since I wasn't really planning on selling it. I'll try to get more on here soon. 620k on the odometer with essentially a brand new engine. Toyota 17" Steelies with nearly brand new BF Goodrich KM3's. 3RD row seats have been removed, but they will be included. I have more than $50k in it. (Please see below for various invoices.) Asking price is $48k.
