Now that is over the top...:D

Looks like very slick red soil that takes you where it wants you to go...

Sure wish I was rich enough to be so carefree :)
Great wheeling pics!

That's sweet. Where was it taken?
...

The first 3 pics were taken in near Bacolod city, in western Visayas. The next 4 was taken in Bataan, site of the infamous last stand of the Americans & Filipinos before the Japanese overran them in World War II.

And nope, I'm not in one of them :( Just showing you guys how insane it can be sometimes in here... breeding ground for guys like me! :D

wicked shots.
i sure hope the top truck had it's engine off before the water got too deep...

Yes, they did... the snorkel did it's job until the very end. What they did after that, I was told, is that they changed all fluids, replace the glow plugs and battery, and really clean out the interior cabin!

Awesome pics drexx.. WHo's the guy with the beard in the first pic ;)

Boy I sure don't miss red clay mud. :D

Cool! That's my family's hometown! Can't wait to go back (for a LOT longer this time) in '07. Let's keep in touch!

Cool pics, Drexx. I'm sure you're working on some with you in it. :D

Good job it was an 81 with the solid rear windows rather than an 80 with those lovely sliding ones which leak with just a little rain, otherwise there would have been even more interior wetness to clear out.

I could imagine leeches all over their bodies that trip. At least better than jellyfish.

Good stuff.

Everyone around here seems to have the pleasure of wheeling sans mud.

That looks like Central Ontario in the spring.
