Just thinking about this, and since I'm not going, I'm not sure I want to interfere by making suggestions about it. So, an objective statement may be in order... The full moon, by definition, is opposite the sun. That means that it's brightest at midnight. If you guys are planning on leaving just after dark, don't plan on a lot of moonlight for a few hours...

Steve,

That is why I gave times for the 2-3 days BEFORE the actual full moon. On a waxing gibbous the moon rises before the sun sets. On a waning gibbous the moon is still up at sunrise.

Sunset is about 5pm on the 21st.

How about a 6pm meet at the dunes (end of Southern)? Air down and on the trail by 6:30.

Is this the night run date/time?

I have been looking for a chance to use my rock lights :D

Jim -

I'm planning to be there, and we should have a number of other folks as well. At least there was a lot of interest when it was first proposed. Hopefully all those people didn't find something else better to do.

I'll be out there at 6:00 tomorrow night - hope to see you there.

Evan

I'm out. My 60 is still not running right. I haven't had the time to work on it.

Anybody else?

Graham, Rory?

Bueller, anyone?

Evan and group,
I am out for this one. Somehow I don't expect we will get many pictures. :D

Have fun guys and give us a trip report on Turkey Day!

Gonna Try.

If I can sneek out of work early enough. I found out this morning that two supervisors are taking off tommorow. That leaves me to watch 35-40 employees in Abq, SF and RR. I even took the Hella lights off my 40 to put on the runner. Have some tabs made to mount them, but better get to work and see if I can sneak off tommorow.

OK, I was getting concerned that we might have to cancel for a minute there, but we've got some interest going again.

I'm hearing that the following are at least a possibility:
Abq Jim
Rudy
Rory/Molly (if she won't give up the 80, bring her along!)
and Graham was interested way back when.

It might be helpful if folks would post up a definite yay or nay on the list on Wednesday (if possible) so we know who to watch for in the dark. Also, my cell is 238-7226. My phone will be on after about 5:00.

The more, the merrier!

I'll be there. I just haven't been online that much recently.

I am a 'maybe' My wife and I are really interested in going, I've been out of town on a training assignment and got up at 2AM today to get to the airport - if I get a nap this afternoon - I'll be there! Sounds fun!
Paul

Sounds good Paul - hope to see you out there!

I guess I'm out. With owner gone I have babysit the shop tonight and close up for the long weekend. Have fun guys!

Rudy

Jennie and I are going to try and be there if she can get off work in time. I assume the meeting time is still 6 pm and that I drive out southern until I see cruisers, correcto?

dave

That's right Dave. All the way out Southern. The road will turn to dirt and eventually dead ends into some sand dunes. We're planning to be out there at 6:00, get aired down and be wheeling by 6:30.

Hope to see you and Jennie out there.

P.S. to Rudy - Sorry you can't make it. We'll see you next time. Happy Turkey Day!

Of course I wait till the last minute for this, but....

I just the call that we are celebrating my Ma's B-day tonight. So I am out, have fun and be safe!

On my way...

Well, we were on our way...But! When we were driving west on Southern my wife suddenly remembered that she had forgot to pick up the food for the family T-Day dinner. So we turned around and went to Wal Mart... Hope you all had a great run - seems like we keep having things happen to keep us from wheeling - we'll try again.

Paul
