...and 'turf mode'? This is what the UTV or SxS folks call a locking differential. What I've surmised is that the majority of UTV/SxS owners like to have a spool differential for traction (and probably for slipping around corners). These wreck a lawn, so the lockers are used to drive on 'turf'.
Why do I care? Well, I want to add a locker to my Defender and to make a long story short, I have to manually control the OEM servo motor that actuates the diff lock. If any HDC folks have one of these UTVs with a locking differential, I'd like to hook up my O-scope to figure out what type of control Can Am uses.
I posted up on a Can Am forum a week ago and, well, it's not Mud... so not too much technical information over there.
